Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients presenting to the Behavioral Health Emergency Department
- Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatment in a fast-paced ED environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to facility protocols for behavioral health holds and emergency interventions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members throughout the care continuum
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing
- Experience working with behavioral health patient populations
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or behavioral health setting
- Familiarity with psychiatric emergency protocols and behavioral health holds
- Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills
