Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 4x10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (varying day off) | 36 hours weekly guaranteed | Weekday and weekend on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across a 10-OR suite serving a diverse surgical patient population including General, Orthopedic, Spine, Neuro, GYN, ENT, Robotics, Urology, Podiatry, Vascular, and Open Heart cases
- Operate and manage a variety of OR equipment in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation
- Fulfill weekday and weekend on-call shift requirements as scheduled
- Demonstrate the ability to anticipate surgical team needs, adapt quickly to changing case assignments, and function as a self-starter
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Robotics training or experience in robotic-assisted surgical procedures
- Experience with Vascular and/or Open Heart surgical cases
- Positive, adaptable personality with the ability to go with the flow and anticipate team needs
