Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule (84 hours biweekly expected)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting with primary float support to Med Surg
- Adapt to flexible scheduling, including weekend shifts as needed, which may include most weekends during the contract
- Adhere to an alternating 36/48-hour weekly schedule; must agree to this schedule structure prior to placement
- Complete orientation modules as required; modules are completed during orientation and recorded via Oracle
- Maintain compliance with all facility documentation requirements, with hard documents due no later than 3 business days prior to start
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – license must be in hand prior to start
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
- Nursys verification required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Must be available to complete required lab items within 72 hours of accepting an offer, or have a documented plan in place
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Epic EMR strongly preferred
- Comfort with float assignments and adaptable scheduling
