Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) Birthing Center setting
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:5, delivering compassionate, patient-focused nursing care throughout the labor and delivery process
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Float to other units as needed — float requirements are non-negotiable
- Adhere to weekend and on-call requirements as determined by the facility
- Maintain current BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP certifications throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with Labor and Delivery experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NRP
- Minimum 2+ years of RN experience
- Hands-on Labor and Birth experience is required
- Flu vaccination or a client-approved exemption is required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1
- Must be willing and able to float as needed — non-negotiable
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Patient-focused team player with a flexible, positive attitude
- Comfort working in a high-acuity birthing center environment
