Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care throughout the perioperative process, including pre-operative preparation, intraoperative support, and post-operative recovery
- Ensure patient safety and comfort by monitoring vital signs and responding to changes in patient condition during surgical procedures
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams, patients, and families regarding procedural outcomes and expectations
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with facility policies
- Adhere to sterile technique and infection control protocols within the operating room environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license (or compact license eligible for Oklahoma practice)
- Minimum of 2 years of RN Operating Room experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Local candidates are welcome and will be considered for placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience preferred
- Experience working in a regional referral center or high-volume surgical environment
