Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend required | No on-call
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Operate and monitor cardiac telemetry equipment, IV pumps, PCAs, epidurals, high-flow nasal cannula, and BiPAP devices
- Perform and assist with feeding tube placement
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
- Collaborate with PCT staff and interdisciplinary team members across day and night shifts
- Float to Med/Surg and IMCU units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Utah or a compact state
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in a PCU, stepdown, or IMC setting
- Strong time management and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac equipment
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
- Experience floating to Med/Surg or IMCU environments
