REQUIRED PROCEDURESJOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: Board Certified in Gastroenterology (ABIM)
- Licenses: Active Florida Medical License
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
- Experience: At least 50 inpatient/consultative patient encounters in past 12 months; procedure log requirements as per facility
- Other Qualifications: Up to date CV and Lee Attestation Form required; clean background and NPDB
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform outpatient GI endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and endoscopy.
- Note resulting pathology and coordinate follow-up with office staff.
- Provide inpatient consultative services as needed.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologist and endoscopy unit staff during procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with credentialing requirements.
