Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care across a full spectrum of surgical procedures and specialties
- Support both general elective surgeries and critical or life-saving surgical interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility attendance and scheduling policies, including strict punctuality requirements for all assigned shifts
- Complete a skills checklist within one year of application as required for RN specialties
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN License (LARA and Nursys verification required)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- Must not have been a full-time employee of the hiring facility within the past six months
- Must live at least 35 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard contract rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Orthopedic, General, Endo-Vascular, Urology, or OB surgical settings
- Familiarity with health system-wide profile and compliance standards
