Contract | Full-Time | Days/Nights Rotating | 4x10-hour shifts per week | Occasional weekends per unit need
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care across the procedural continuum, including pre-procedure preparation, post-procedure recovery, and Phase I/II PACU-level care
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and deliver individualized patient education prior to and following cardiac and EP procedures
- Monitor hemodynamic status and manage moderate-sedation recovery in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Care for patients presenting with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac arrhythmias, and heart failure
- Recognize and respond to acute and non-acute clinical situations, applying critical thinking to support exceptional patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Telemetry experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting
- Familiarity with procedural holding area or PACU-level care environments
