Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM | Call expectations every 3rd day and at least 1–2 weekends per month
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) setting
- Assist in the general OR when no CVOR cases are scheduled, as expected of all staff
- Participate in call rotation every 3rd day and at least 1–2 weekends per month
- Work holidays and weekends as needed
- May care for patients who are COVID-positive
- Complete required onboarding modules prior to start date
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with no license hits accepted
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
- ACLS and BLS certifications required (AHA or ARC only)
- EPIC charting experience required
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard rate
- This is a tobacco-free and fragrance-free facility; candidates must comply with this policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong proficiency in EPIC electronic health records
- Experience floating to general OR environments
- Familiarity with call rotation schedules in a surgical setting
