Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Travel
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced rural Emergency Department with 23 beds
- Manage a patient ratio of approximately 4–5:1
- Float to a sister Emergency Department every third weekend as needed
- Operate within a night shift schedule with no on-call requirements
- Document and manage patient care using Cerner EMR
- Apply de-escalation techniques as required in the emergency care setting
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure in the state of Indiana
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- De-Escalation Training required
- Minimum 1–2 years of Emergency Room experience
- All required licenses and certifications must be submitted with application or candidate will not be considered
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
- Comfort working in a rural hospital environment
