Contract | Travel | Nights | 14 Weeks | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekend rotation expected (1:4)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within a 37-bed Level 1 Trauma Center operating room environment
- Circulate across a broad range of surgical specialties including General, GU/GYN, Orthopedics, Ortho Trauma, Neurosurgery, Open Vascular, ENT, Dental, Pediatric Surgery, and Da Vinci Robotic procedures
- Demonstrate flexibility, accountability, and strong teamwork in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical setting
- Maintain timely and accurate patient care documentation throughout the perioperative process
- Participate in weekend call rotation on a 1:4 basis with 12-hour shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Maine)
- Minimum 2 years of Trauma experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to circulate independently across multiple surgical service lines
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience in an OR or perioperative setting
- Experience with Da Vinci robotic surgical systems
- Background in Level 1 Trauma Center environments
