Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry | Float Pool | Nights
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36–48 hours per week | Six weekend shifts per six-week schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care at a 6:1 patient ratio
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Float between multiple facilities as required — this is a Float Pool position
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN License required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
- Must be willing and able to float between multiple acute care facilities in the Tucson area
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- Prior float pool or multi-unit nursing experience
