Registered Nurse – ICU (Neuro)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting
- Float to other ICUs, Med/Surg/Telemetry, and Progressive Care units as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system
- Fulfill weekend shift requirements — three weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
- Maintain availability for holiday shifts as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Tennessee RN license or active compact RN license required at time of submission
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg/Telemetry experience
- Epic EMR experience within the past 18 months, clearly documented on candidate profile; candidates must pass the Epic competency exam (one attempt allowed)
- Two supervisory references required at time of submission
- Candidates requiring fit testing must be clean-shaven; failures due to facial hair will not be accepted
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Neuro ICU or similar critical care environment
- Comfort with floating across multiple units including Progressive Care and Med/Surg/Telemetry
- Demonstrated proficiency with Epic in an acute care setting
