Contract (13 Weeks) | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Every Other Weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving a diverse adult and geriatric population
- Utilize facility EHR systems including Meditech and PACS-NovaRad to document and manage patient information
- Operate GE equipment in accordance with unit protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered outcomes
- Adhere to all unit policies including dress code and infection control standards; no call requirements for this position
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Virginia or compact licensure eligibility
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years of overall RN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Rapid Response nursing role
- Familiarity with Meditech EHR platform
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
