Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Document patient information and clinical findings accurately using Meditech
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Float to other units as needed per facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Meditech EMR experience required
- Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as discussed
- Compliance with facility dress code: facility-designated scrub color, no artificial/gel nails, neat hair (pulled back if shoulder length or longer), covered tattoos, and no visible piercings other than ears
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with acute care environments and associated patient populations
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new team environments
