Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, 52-bed Emergency Department with an average patient ratio of 3:1 (low acuity up to 5:1; pediatric patients managed via team nursing)
- Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedation support, and pediatric care
- Administer and document medications using Alaris pumps; medication scanning is expected with every patient encounter
- Collaborate within a structured pod model alongside charge nurses, physicians, and midlevel providers
- Maintain a strong focus on patient experience throughout all interactions
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital Emergency Department experience
- Active RN license required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- CPI Blue Card required
- Ability to work at a high pace and adapt quickly in a diverse, dynamic environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ENPC certification
- Experience with Meditech/CPN EMR
- Prior travel experience in large hospital facilities or high-volume settings
