Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care to patients throughout the surgical experience
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties within the operating room as assigned
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical team members to ensure patient safety and procedural efficiency
- Respond to on-call needs during nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and adhere to sterile technique and infection control standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Massachusetts (or compact license eligibility)
- Operating Room nursing experience required
- Ability to work variable start times and participate in an on-call rotation including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Influenza vaccine required
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required — this location necessitates reliable personal transportation
- No time-off requests (RTO) can be accommodated during the assignment period
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a scrub and circulating role across multiple surgical specialties
- Familiarity with rotating shift environments and on-call responsibilities
- Strong adaptability and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced surgical setting
