Travel RN – ICU/CCU (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit with patient ratios of 2:1, occasionally 3:1
- Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring devices
- Assist with and support procedures such as central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech documentation system
- Float in rotation with core staffing as needed per unit floating policy
- Demonstrate critical thinking and self-motivated practice in a fast-paced critical care environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of ICU/CCU experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Proficiency with Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems
- Must meet travel nurse eligibility requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with advanced hemodynamic monitoring and specialty devices (Impella, IABP, Artic Sun)
- PALS certification
- Prior travel nursing experience in a critical care setting
