About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Psychology MD in Massachusetts!
We are seeking a Psychologist in Massachusetts for a 90-day assignment focusing on comprehensive psychiatric assessments and psychological testing to identify behavioral patterns. This role offers flexibility with both full-time (40 hours per week, 8:30 AM to 5 PM) and part-time (24 hours per week) schedules.Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations.
- Perform psychological testing to assist in the diagnostic process.
- Research and identify behavioral or emotional patterns of patients.
- Document utilizing the hospital electronic medical records.
- Initiate Treatment Team risk assessment and review.
- Collaborate with other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Collaborate with Department of Mental Health clinical team.
- Collaborate with the Independent Forensic Review evaluators.
- Collaborate with the unit’s attorney, court liaison staff, and the legal system.
- Monitor the legal status of patients and provide the treatment team with updates.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy to patients as needed.
- May be called upon to provide training to staff when needed.
