Key Responsibilities
- Render professional nursing care to patients within the assigned unit in support of medical staff directives and hospital policies
- Complete clinical documentation and care plans comprehensively and in a timely manner for all assigned patients
- Assist with insertion of Flow wire, Opsens, and IVUS; demonstrate contraindications and reversal for IV adenosine infusion
- Safely administer procedural sedation and pass annual sedation examination; document sedation according to policies and procedures
- Communicate patient information to ensure continuity and safe care through hand-offs, walking rounds, and provider interaction
- Collaborate in planning, supervising, and instructing other nurses and assistants; participate in quality improvement planning and peer review
Required Qualifications
- Current New Hampshire RN license required
- BLS required
- ACLS required
- Graduate of an approved Nursing program, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum 3 years of critical care experience preferred
- Basic Dysrhythmia certification preferred or to be obtained prior to completion of orientation
- NIHSS certification preferred or to be obtained prior to completion of orientation
- Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training preferred or to be obtained prior to completion of orientation
