Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 48 hours/week available | Projected Start: November 30, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with patient ratios of 4–5:1
- Care for post-cath patients (no sheath removal), pacemaker placement patients, and stroke patients
- Manage and monitor cardiac drips including amiodarone and Cardizem
- Utilize unit equipment including Pyxis, Alaris pumps, Welch Allyn vitals machines, and Meditech EMR
- Float as needed to other telemetry departments, med-surg, and PCU
- Participate in weekend rotation: 3 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule (Saturday and Sunday for day shift)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Missouri
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Telemetry or Cardiac nursing experience
- Experience with post-cath recovery (no sheath removal), pacemaker placements, stroke patients, amiodarone drips, and Cardizem drips
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification or experience
- Prior travel nursing experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
