Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Women and Children's unit
- Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout the night shift, reporting changes to the care team
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Support and educate patients and families on care, recovery, and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or compact license eligibility
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in Women and Children's nursing or a related clinical area
- Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in labor and delivery, postpartum, or pediatric nursing
- ACLS or NRP certification
- Experience in a contract or travel nursing capacity
