Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite | Projected Start: August 24, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a high-risk antepartum unit with a 1:3–4 patient ratio
- Assist with and support procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst
- Perform immediate newborn care following delivery
- Utilize electronic fetal monitoring equipment (Philips) and Baxter pumps; document in Cerner and FetaLink EMR systems
- May float to L&D, Mother-Baby (MOMB), and NICU as needed
- Collaborate with charge nursing staff and interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- High-risk obstetric experience required
- Immediate newborn care experience required
- NRP certification required
- BLS and ALS certifications required
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Circulating experience in an OR/surgical obstetric setting
- Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a collaborative unit culture
