Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Rotating Shifts | 12-hour shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a) | Every other weekend and every other holiday | Expected 72 hours biweekly
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical or Telemetry unit, depending on float assignment
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Maintain patient ratios of 5:1 (7a–11p) and 6:1 (11p–7a) on Med/Surg, and 4:1 (7a–11p) and 5:1 (11p–7a) on Telemetry
- Participate in a self-scheduling environment with flexibility to fill unit needs as assigned
- Adhere to all facility policies, protocols, and compliance requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Massachusetts or compact equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical RN experience required
- Ability to float between Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units as needed
- Availability to work every other weekend and every other holiday as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior Telemetry nursing experience strongly preferred
- Experience working in a float or multi-unit capacity
- Familiarity with self-scheduling systems and flexibility to accommodate unit staffing needs
