Contract | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Rotating Weekends and Holidays | Expected 72 hours biweekly
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical critical care needs in a 14-bed Critical Care Unit with 24-hour intensivist coverage
- Manage ventilator settings and perform ongoing respiratory assessments
- Titrate vasoactive medications and sedation per protocol
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring and interpret findings to guide care
- Recognize and manage cardiac dysrhythmias, including post-STEMI care
- Maintain evidence of relevant continuing education in critical care
Required Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Demonstrated competency in core critical care skills: ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, and post-STEMI care

- CCRN certification preferred
- Strong telemetry and ECG interpretation skills
- Experience with medication management in a critical care setting
