Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting
- Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
- Administer and manage medications safely, with competency validated via safeMedicate assessment during orientation
- Document and track hours worked through the designated time-tracking platform
- Maintain compliance with annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-required modules
Required Qualifications
- Active, permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required — must be active and in hand at time of submission; no pending certifications accepted
- NIHSS certification required — must be willing to obtain prior to start date
- Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
- One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty — must be from an assignment worked within the past 12 months; co-worker references will not be accepted
- Acceptable scores on ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation — maximum of 2 attempts permitted
- Locals are welcome and accepted at the same rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience concentrated within a single facility or unit preferred
- Charge RN experience — references from Charge RN roles are accepted
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation in an acute care environment
