Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting, managing patients with respiratory, renal, and cardiac conditions, as well as alcohol/drug withdrawal and infections
- Monitor and assess patient status, implementing appropriate nursing interventions in a step-down/intermediate care environment
- Adhere to department guidelines regarding weekend, holiday, and float rotation requirements
- Complete all required learning modules prior to and during the assignment
- Maintain active ACLS and BLS certifications from an AHA, ARC, or ASHI approved vendor throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions or hits on record
- Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active ACLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- Active BLS certification from an approved vendor (AHA, ARC, or ASHI)
- PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency — Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments to support placement efficiency
