Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, quality patient care to patients of all ages utilizing the nursing process within a 30-bed Telemetry unit
- Provide specialized care for cardiac patients, incorporating educational requirements and competencies related to telemetry monitoring
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 to 1:6 while ensuring safe and effective care delivery
- Float as needed to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry units
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1–2 years of Telemetry or Step-Down experience required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Willingness and ability to float to Med/Surg and remote Telemetry
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry-specific patient populations
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
