Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Level III/IV NICU setting with expected nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2–4
- Participate in a self-scheduling model, including expected weekend shifts (6 weekend shifts per 6-week period)
- Commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
- Float between units within the facility as operationally needed
- Complete required onboarding modules prior to start and annually as directed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience required
- Must commit to all requested time off and scheduling needs upfront at the time of submission — post-offer RTO requests may not be considered
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (locals may be considered at an adjusted rate)
- Background must be clear; facility does not accept background hits
- Two professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level III NICU experience strongly preferred, as this is a Level IV unit
- Familiarity with high-acuity neonatal patient populations
- Interest in extended contract beyond the initial 13-week term is welcomed
