Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting during night shift hours
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, implementing appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
- Adhere to all applicable Florida state healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Florida license or eligibility required; AHCA compliance required for Florida placement)
- Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience
- Current ACLS certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current NIHSS certification required
- Housing within 50 miles of the facility must be secured prior to acceptance; a confirmed address is required at time of placement (hotel accommodations are not sufficient)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity or critical care travel nursing role
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
- Strong ability to adapt quickly to new facility workflows and protocols
