Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a telemetry setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
- Perform and interpret telemetry readings to guide clinical decision-making
- Manage patients requiring ventilator support, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 18 months in a telemetry or related setting
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
- Strong experience with ventilator management, tracheostomies, and chest tubes
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Advanced telemetry interpretation skills
