Job Summary
The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (CCL) registered nurse position is based in a healthcare facility environment. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within a diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization lab, supporting procedures such as cardiac stent placement, catheterizations, and various advanced cardiac interventions.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS; Education Requirements: RN license; Experience: 2 years minimum in a clinical setting; Location Requirements: Must hold a valid RN license and be eligible to work locally and pending licensure; Years of Experience: 2 years required.
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
- Additional responsibilities include assisting with complex cardiac procedures such as angioplasty, pacemaker insertions, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), and other interventional cardiology treatments.
- Requirements include previous experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, and charting system proficiency in Epic.
- The candidate must be able to float between departments and facilities as needed, with regular on-call duties including weekends.
- Submission of all necessary compliance documentation is required at specified deadlines prior to start.
