Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Medical-Surgical ICU - Location unspecified. This role involves providing specialized critical care to adult and geriatric patients within a Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit. The position requires clinical expertise in managing complex patient conditions and utilizing advanced equipment and protocols to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Valid license in the state or region, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and a minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge experience, experience with EPIC charting system, trauma level I or II experience, and travel experience.
- Additional Responsibilities: Managing patient care involving arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, neuro ICU protocols, and other advanced critical care procedures.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS are required.
- Schedule Details: Night shifts, 12 hours each, with a minimum of 48 hours per week.
- Submission Requirements: All licensure and core items/labs to be completed within 48 hours of contract signing. Modules for onboarding are to be completed onsite during orientation.
