Requirements
- 2+ years L&D experience
- Active California RN license
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- Fetal monitoring experience
- Vaginal exam skills required
- C-Section circulating + post-C-section recovery required
- Labor, vaginal delivery & recovery experience
- High-risk antepartum experience
- Obstetrical emergency/hemorrhage experience
- Newborn care during first hour of life, including initial breastfeeding/latch
Clinical Experience
- Labor & delivery management
- Vaginal exams
- C-Sections
- OB triage / OBED / MSE
- NST, CST & BPP
- Gestational hypertension & gestational diabetes
- Versions & cervical cerclage
- Outpatient injections
Preferred
- C-Section scrub experience
- NCC certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) or EFM
