Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse Located in the regional healthcare facility, this position involves providing specialized care for adult and geriatric patients within a Progressive Care Unit. The role requires engaging in patient monitoring, administering treatments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Education Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, Post Partum, OB Triage, Antepartum, or Newborn care; compact license must be in hand
- Location Requirements: Valid State License with active compact license; local radius 50 miles
- Years of Experience: 2 years related experience in specified specialties
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Additional Responsibilities: Circulate in OR, start adult IVs, administer blood and blood products, manage drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, insulin, magnesium sulfate, and other special procedures
- Special Equipment & Procedures: Include CVA management, wound care, and various infusion management
- Clinical Requirements: Must be IMC Level RN for the PCU, capable of managing complex clinical procedures and patient care activities
- Submission Requirements: Must include response to prior work at Providence facilities, two references covering 1 year within the last 3 years, and confirmation of active licensure
