Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse Nights Location This position involves providing specialized nursing care within the labor and delivery department. The role requires supporting patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring safety and comfort for mothers and newborns.
Job Details
- Location: This role is based in a community hospital setting with a Level 1 Well Baby Nursery and a focus on obstetric care.
- Required Qualifications: MD RN or compact license; BLS, ACLS, NCC C-EFM certification in hand at time of submission; minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery; relevant clinical skills and certifications.
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: This position involves working in all areas of the department, including labor, delivery, and Mother-Baby units. Candidates must be comfortable floating within scope and work scheduled weekends and holidays as required. The ideal candidate will have experience with external fetal monitoring and essential obstetric procedures.
