Job Summary
Operating Room nurse in the specialty located in the region. This position involves providing surgical nursing care in an ambulatory or outpatient setting within a healthcare facility. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Job Details
- Certifications, Education, and Experience: ACLS, BLS certifications required; at least 1 year of clinical experience in an Operating Room setting. Compact license must be in hand at submission.
- Schedule: 12-hour shift days, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Job Responsibilities: Provides perioperative nursing care, manages dysrhythmia recognition and management, administers narcotics and reversal agents, monitors conscious sedation and general anesthesia, assists with pain management assessments, and supports various surgical procedures including ENT, Gyn, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Urology, and General Surgery.
- Certifications and Skills: Must have ACLS and BLS certifications. Skills in Ambulatory/Outpatient, Inpatient procedures, and charting in any system are required.
- Additional Information: Float rotation may be required. Candidates must be able to work during specified holidays and follow scheduling protocols with upfront requests. Candidates should include responses to specific pre-submittal questions, such as previous experience with Providence facilities and references covering the past three years.
