We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for a 48-day assignment in Florida. Our client is looking for a dedicated physician to work 12-hour shifts, including both day and night rotations. You will provide critical emergency medicine services in a new freestanding emergency department, handling a projected high volume of patient visits and ensuring seamless care for those requiring inpatient admission to the main hospital.Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care to patients
- Manage a diverse range of emergency cases in a freestanding emergency department
- Utilize diagnostic imaging including CT scan, ultrasound, and X-ray
- Facilitate seamless patient handoffs to intensivists, hospitalists, and specialists for inpatient admissions
- Work effectively within an environment integrated with a Level II Trauma Center
