PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) preferred; will accept BC/BE in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine with EM experience
- Licenses: Active Florida Medical License, Active DEA with Florida address
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA with Florida address required
- Certifications: ATLS (unless ABEM certified), ACLS, PALS required
- Experience: Emergency Medicine experience required for FM/IM candidates; ABEM candidates preferred
- Other Qualifications: Flu vaccination, TB screening, COVID documentation, case logs and CME documentation from past 2 years
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
- Perform all DOP-listed procedures as required.
- Manage patient volume of approximately 36,000 annual visits in a 16-bed ED.
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR.
