- EMR System: Epic with Dragon dictation
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Board: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine (ABEM) or Board Certified in EM, IM, or FM
- Licenses: Active MS state license; active DEA with MS address; CDS if required
- DEA / CDS: Active DEA and CDS as required
- Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS required (if not ABEM board certified)
- Experience: Residency trained; case logs for past 2 years required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the ED.
- Perform thorough medical evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging.
- Coordinate patient care with specialist backup and hospital staff.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic EMR.
