Unit Information
Our birth care unit is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment for expectant mothers and their newborns.
- Number of Beds: 20
- Number of Staff: 50
- Patient Ratios: 3-4:1 for postpartum couplets, 1-2:1 for labor patients
- Types of Equipment: Welch Allen vitals machines, CPN monitors, POC Glucose monitoring, Monica Novii telemetry
- EMR System: Meditech / CPN
Hiring Profile
We are looking for dedicated and skilled individuals to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess the following qualifications:
- Required:
- Minimum 1-year current experience as an L&D RN
- ACLS, BLS, NRP & AWHONN or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM)
- Preferred:
- Postpartum experience
- High risk LDR experience
Typical Procedures
- C-sections and Inductions
- AROM, IUPC, DFM and Doppler
- Circulating C-Sections
