ICU Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Description
We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time position on the night shift. This role requires working in a 24-bed Intensive Care Unit with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
Unit Information
- Number of Beds: 24
- Number of Staff: 46
- Patient Ratios: 1:2 (1:3 for PCU boarders, 1:1 for sitters or higher acuity)
- Staffing Description: 1 CCT/US during day shift if more than 10 patients
- Documentation System: EPIC
- Scheduling Requirements: Straight nights or 50/50
- Floating Policy: May float to PCU or act as a sitter anywhere within the inpatient setting
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience; 1 year of strong experience may be considered
- Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

- Rapid Sequence Intubations
- Central Line Placements
- Intubation
- Arterial Line Placement
- Chest Tube Placement
- Experience with ventilators, vasopressors, restraint use
