Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN)
Position Overview
The Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care for individuals with a variety of medical conditions within a structured environment requiring assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The role involves collaborating with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule
This position requires the ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
Location
This role is based in City, State.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with daily living activities, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and families regarding health issues and post-discharge care.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical-surgical nursing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
