Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in Austin, TX This position involves providing direct nursing care within a Level 1 trauma teaching facility. The role requires implementing and monitoring patient care plans, as well as serving as a primary coordinator for well-coordinated patient care in a fast-paced environment.

- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing, and one or more of the following: Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months of hire or transfer date; Basic Life Support obtained within 1 month; Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 months; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support obtained prior to hire; Pediatric Advanced Life Support instructor certification within 1 month.
- Additional Information: This role is based in a Level 1 trauma teaching facility featuring a 53-bed emergency department with an annual volume of 55,000-60,000 visits. Staff wear navy scrubs, and Cerner is used for electronic health records. The team includes nurses, clerks, transporters, and patient care technicians, with inpatient holding/boarding expected.
