Assignment Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional cardiac procedures and will be responsible for providing care to adult patients in a busy cath lab setting.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days with call; 2-3 days of call per week with rotating weekend call
- Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3234 (negotiable)
- Charting System: Epic
- Orientation Hours: 40
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
- Assist with device implantation and other special procedures
- Monitor hemodynamic status during procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and equipment
- Provide patient care before, during, and after procedures
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 years of experience in Cath Lab
- IL RN license
- Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS
- Proficiency in a range of required skills, including angioplasty, arrhythmia induction, and cardiac stent placement
Preferred:
- Community Hospital Experience
- LTAC Experience
- Trauma Level I Experience
- Trauma Level II Experience
- Travel Experience
