Job Summary
Interventional Radiology (IR) Nurse Milwaukee, WI. This position involves providing specialized nursing care within a Level III Trauma Center that is also a Magnet Designation facility, with a focus on neuro and general interventional radiology procedures. The role includes supporting a 24/7 department and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Education Requirements: Valid RN license; minimum 1 year of RN experience in an IR or related setting
- Location Requirements: Milwaukee, WI; candidate must be licensed in the state of Wisconsin or able to obtain licensure
- Years of Experience: 1 year minimum
- Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, starting 11/16/2026 through 02/13/2027
- Additional Information: Support on the unit includes receptionists, tech leads, tech specialists, respiratory therapy, hospitalists, and CNA/Transporters. EMR system is EPIC, with Siemens and GE equipment experience preferred. Orientation includes 1-2 weeks with a preceptor.
- Responsibilities include monitoring and charting patient status during IR procedures, assisting with sedation, and supporting patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Flexibility in shift times is possible, and scrub colors are provided. Parking is free with badge access.
