Overview:
-Looking for a highly technical, hands-on Screen-printing production lead for our shop floor. This is a dynamic, high impact role for a seasoned screen printer who loves the technical side of the craft. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex print issues and assisting on the line to load, catch or run a press as needed. This position offers an opportunity to lead innovative print projects within a vibrant manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- ·Work with press operators that are setting up difficult multi-color jobs, registration issues and dialing in perfect squeegee pressure, flood angles and cure times.
- ·Run an automatic press, unload, catch or perform any task to keep the shop hitting its daily production goals when short-staffed.
- ·Print Run Approvals working with the Technical Advisor and Art Department to approve new jobs and reprints.
- ·Backup/Assist the Technical Advisor and Operations Manager in keeping the team focused, organized and moving forward meeting production timelines.
Qualifications:
- ·Minimum3-5 years of hands-on experience running automatic screen-printing equipment on a daily basis. (M&R experience preferred but not required)
- ·Diagnosing a registration glitch as you are catching shirts at the end of a dryer belt for the entire day.
- ·Show up on time for every shift. If a crew member is missing, the team looks to you to keep the line running.
This is a full time position, 40 hours per week.
Pay ranges from $22-25/hr. (Experience based)
