JOB REQUIREMENTS - Board: BC/BE in Gastroenterology
- Licenses: Active MI License and CSR
- DEA: Active DEA (verbal confirmation required)
- Certifications: ACLS
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years post-fellowship
- Other Qualifications: Clean background, COVID vaccine, local candidates preferred
Duties & Responsibilities - Provide gastroenterology consultations for inpatients and outpatients.
- Perform endoscopic procedures (EGD, colonoscopy) in the endoscopy suite.
- Manage weekend call coverage (24-hour call on Saturdays/Sundays).
- Collaborate with support staff (APPs, physicians) and consult with other specialties.
- Document patient encounters and procedures in Cerner EMR.
