We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiology Physician for a 40-day assignment in Massachusetts. The role involves 1-4 weeks per month, with primary responsibilities in the Main OR during weekday 8-hour day shifts (7a-3p) and comprehensive inhouse call coverage throughout weekdays and weekends for 24-hour shifts. This position focuses on providing expert anesthesia care and supervision within a dynamic hospital environment.Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide anesthesia services in the Main OR during weekday 8-hour day shifts.
- Manage inhouse call duties during both weekdays and weekends for 24-hour shifts.
- Oversee a diverse range of cases including Bariatric, ENT, GYN, IR, Ortho-Total Joints, Plastics, POD, Spine, Thoracic, URO, and VASC procedures.
- Offer medical direction and supervision for CRNAs.
- Engage in personal provision of anesthesia care, operating within a supervision model.

- Call Schedule: Inhouse Call (Week and Weekends, 24hr IH)
- Patients per day: 6-12 (Case dependent)
- LOA: 40 Days
- Staffing Mix: 2 MD, 6 CRNA FTE Model
- Facility features 260 beds and 8 anesthetizing sites.
- Ultrasound is available for blocks.
- Labor Epidurals are performed by CRNAs with Physician backup as necessary.
- CRNAs operate under 100% supervision, with anesthesiologists providing medical direction, supervision, or personally performing cases in a primarily MD supervised environment.
